We've moved to Payfast
Monthly plans are now paid through Payfast instead of a manual EFT. It takes two minutes to set up once, and then it looks after itself.
Why we moved
The short version: paying us should take no thought at all. It used to take a reminder, a login and a manual transfer every month.
- It runs itselfSet it up once and your plan is paid on the same date each month. Nothing to remember, nothing to miss.
- You get proofA receipt lands in your inbox every time a payment goes through, so your bookkeeping stays clean.
- You stay in controlChange your card or stop payments yourself in your Payfast account, whenever you want. No phone call needed.
What you need to do now
Nothing. We'll handle the switch
You don't need to cancel anything or change your banking. We're moving clients across one at a time on our side, and we'll email you when your plan is ready to set up. The steps below just show you what to expect when that email arrives.
How it works
Two minutes, once. You'll need the debit or credit card you want the monthly payment to come off.
- Pick your plan belowCare, Optimise or Partner, whichever one you're on. If you're not sure, check your last invoice or just ask us.
- You'll land on Payfast's secure pageThis is Payfast's own payment page, not ours. You'll see the plan name and the monthly amount before you enter anything.
- Enter your card detailsYour card details go straight to Payfast. They never pass through us, and we never see or store them.
- Approve it with your bankYour bank will ask you to confirm, usually with a one-time code or a prompt in your banking app. Approve it and the first month is paid.
- That's it. It repeats monthlyThe same amount comes off the same card on the same date each month, until you tell it to stop. You'll get an emailed receipt every time.
Why it's safe
Payfast handles the payment from start to finish. Here's what that means for your card.
- We never see your cardYou type your card details on Payfast's own page, not ours. They're never sent to us, and we never store them.
- Top-level card securityPayfast is a PCI DSS Level 1 service provider: the highest security standard the card industry sets.
- Your bank checks it's youCard payments use 3D Secure, so your bank asks you to approve the payment before anything goes through.
- You can stop it any timeNo lock-in. Give us 7 days' written notice, or cancel it yourself in your Payfast account. Nothing else to chase.
The address bar should show payfast.co.za with a padlock. If it doesn't, stop and WhatsApp us.

Questions people have asked
Do I need to open a Payfast account?
Not to pay. If you'd like to see or stop the subscription yourself later, create a free Payfast account with the same email address you paid with. Or just ask us and we'll handle it.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time. Give us 7 days' written notice (an email is fine) and we'll stop it, or cancel it yourself in your Payfast account. Our plans have no lock-in, and your website and domain stay yours either way.
What about the way I was paying before?
Nothing you need to action. We stop the old method on our side as each client moves across, so you won't be charged twice.
When does my first Payfast payment come off?
On [ DATE TO CONFIRM ], or on the day you set it up if that's later. We'll confirm your exact date by email before anything is charged.
What if a payment fails?
Nothing breaks straight away. Payfast will let you know, we'll check in, and you can update your card and retry. Your site stays up while we sort it out.
Can I keep paying by EFT instead?
Talk to us. Payfast is how we'd like to run monthly plans from now on, but if it genuinely doesn't work for your business, send us a message and we'll find something that does.
Does the price change?
No. R500, R1,000 and R2,000 are exactly what they were. This is only a change to how the payment reaches us.
Still not sure?
Ask us anything about this. There's no wrong question, and we'd rather explain it twice than have you guessing.
