Google Review System — turn good jobs into good reviews.
Almost every business has more happy customers than reviews. The gap is never the quality of the work — it is that asking feels awkward and the customer would have to go and find you on Google themselves. We remove both problems with branded QR cards that take a customer straight to your review form in a single tap.
Any business where you meet the customer, finish a job or hand over a product — trades, restaurants, salons, workshops, retailers, practices. If you have ever thought "we do great work but our Google reviews do not show it", this is the fix.
What we do
What you actually get.
Your direct review link, generated properlyGoogle buries the review form. There is a specific link that opens the star-rating box directly, already pointed at your business, with no searching and no extra taps. We generate it from your profile, test it on both Android and iPhone, and give it to you in writing so you always have it.
Branded QR cards designed to be usedWe design physical cards in your brand — your logo, your colours, your wording — carrying a QR code that opens the review form instantly. Print-ready files are supplied, sized for the format that suits you: wallet cards to hand over, table talkers, counter stands, invoice inserts or a sticker for the shop window.
Wording that gets a responseWhat is printed on the card matters more than the card. We write the ask — short, specific, no begging, no incentives that would breach Google’s policy. "Tell others how the job went" outperforms "please review us", and specific prompts produce longer reviews, which Google weights more heavily.
A moment built into how you already workThe single biggest factor is when you ask. We work out the natural point in your process — final walkthrough, handing over keys, presenting the bill, packing the order — and build the ask into it, so it becomes routine for your team instead of something that gets remembered occasionally.
Handling the review you did not wantSooner or later you get a bad one. We give you a short written protocol for responding: the timeframe, the tone, what never to say, and when to reply publicly rather than privately. A calmly answered one-star review often reads better to a prospective customer than a wall of unbroken fives.
A digital version for remote customersNot every customer is standing in front of you. The same link works pasted into a WhatsApp message, an email signature or an invoice footer, and we set it up in whichever of those you use so the system still works when the job was done remotely.
What it means for you
Why this matters.
Reviews start arriving steadily
Not a burst of ten and then silence. A repeatable ask produces a steady flow, and recency counts — a business with reviews from this month reads as alive in a way that one with reviews from 2023 does not.
Your star rating starts reflecting your work
Left alone, reviews skew towards the annoyed, because irritation motivates people to write and satisfaction does not. Asking everyone corrects the sample.
Reviews feed your ranking too
Review volume, rating and recency are among the factors Google uses to order the local map pack. This add-on and the Google Business Profile optimisation compound directly.
Questions
Straight answers.
Does R450 include printing the cards?
It covers the system and the design: your review link, the branded card artwork as print-ready files, the wording and the written process. Physical printing is charged at cost by your printer — we can recommend one, or send the files to whoever you already use.
Can I offer customers a discount for a review?
We build the ask around timing rather than incentives, because timing is what actually works — catch someone in the moment they are pleased and they will write you a review without being paid for it. It also keeps you safe: incentivised reviews breach Google’s policies and can get your reviews removed or your profile suspended. And a review someone left willingly reads as genuine to the next customer, which is the entire point of having them.
Can you filter out the bad reviews before they post?
Our system asks everyone at the same moment in your process, which is both the approach Google permits and the one that works. Screening customers first and routing only the happy ones to the review form is called review gating, and it breaches Google’s policy. Asking everyone lifts your average anyway, because the people who never got round to leaving a review are overwhelmingly the quietly satisfied ones. For the occasional review that does not go your way, you get the written response protocol above.
What if I have almost no reviews right now?
That is the usual starting point and it is the best time to do this. Going from two reviews to twenty makes a far bigger difference to how you look than going from eighty to a hundred.
Do I need a Google Business Profile first?
Yes — the reviews live on that profile. If you do not have one, or it is unclaimed, we would do the Google Business Profile optimisation first. The two are often taken together.
