Most small business logos were made once, quickly, years ago — often in Word or Canva by whoever was available, and usually only as a low-resolution PNG with a white box behind it. It works until you need it embroidered on a shirt, printed on a bakkie or rendered sharply on a phone screen. A redesign fixes both the mark and the missing files.
A business whose logo no longer matches the work it does, anyone who only has a fuzzy PNG and no original artwork, and anyone whose logo becomes unreadable once it is shrunk to a social media profile picture or an app icon.
What we do
What you actually get.
We start with what you actually need it forA short brief covering your business, your customers, what you like and what you cannot stand, and every place the logo has to work: signage, vehicle, uniform, invoice, website, social avatar. A mark that reads on a billboard and dies at 32 pixels is a mark that was designed without asking this.
Concepts, then refinementYou are shown distinct directions rather than one take-it-or-leave-it option, presented in context so you can see them as they will actually appear. You choose a direction and we refine it through rounds of revision until it is right, rather than handing you a file and disappearing.
Built as vector artworkYour logo is drawn as vector, meaning it can be scaled from a business card to a shopfront without ever going soft or pixelated. This is the difference between an asset you own for the next decade and an image file that fails the first time a printer asks for it.
Every variation you will needOne version is never enough in practice. You get the full mark, a stacked version for narrow spaces, a horizontal version for wide ones, an icon-only version for social avatars and favicons, and single-colour versions in black and white for embroidery, stamps and anywhere colour printing is not an option.
Every file format, properly namedSVG and PDF for print and signage, PNG with a genuine transparent background for digital use, JPG where a solid background is required, and correctly sized exports for your website favicon and social profiles. Handed over in a tidy folder structure, so when a printer or a sign writer asks for the logo you send it in ten seconds.
Colour codes and a one-page guideYour exact colours written down in HEX, RGB, CMYK and Pantone, plus a short guide covering minimum size, clear space and what not to do — stretching it, recolouring it, putting it on a clashing background. It is the document you forward to anyone who ever produces anything for you.
What it means for you
Why this matters.
It works everywhere, not just on screen
Vector artwork and a full file set mean the printer, the sign writer and the embroiderer all get what they ask for, first time.
You stop looking smaller than you are
A dated or homemade logo quietly sets expectations about price and quality before anyone has spoken to you.
You own your artwork outright
Full ownership of the final files, including the source artwork. It is yours to use anywhere, forever, with nothing to license back from us.
Questions
Straight answers.
Is R850 for a full brand identity?
It is for the logo — the mark itself, all its variations, every file format, your colour codes and a one-page usage guide. A complete brand identity system with typography, imagery direction and full brand guidelines is a bigger piece of work and is quoted separately.
How many revisions do I get?
The price includes refinement of your chosen direction — we work on it until you are happy with it rather than counting rounds. If you change direction entirely after approving one, we will talk about it honestly before doing more work.
What if I like my current logo?
Then keep it. Sometimes the right answer is a tidy-up rather than a redesign — redrawing your existing mark as clean vector, correcting the spacing, and producing the file set you are missing. We will say so if that is the better use of your money.
Do I own the design?
Yes, in full, once the work is paid for. You get the source artwork as well as the exports, so you are never dependent on us to make a change.
Can you match my new website to it?
That is usually the point. If we are building or maintaining your site, the new logo, its colours and its spacing get carried through the site so the whole thing looks like it was designed together.
